Wow! What a Fantastic Day!
On Friday we celebrated European Day of Languages in KS2. Children participated in language, cultural and art activities in their classes.
In Year 4 children took on some of the Secret Agents’ Handbook challenges as well as some Language Angels activities in Spanish class.Â
In Year 6 we spent the afternoon studying the style of some French artists and movements: the impressionists, Claude Monet and Henri Matisse.Â

We will be celebrating European Day of Languages tomorrow in KS2.

University of Leeds Academic Outreach
We are hoping to welcome some Language students from the University of Leeds into our KS2 French and Spanish classes next academic year.
What this will look like is not entirely sure yet, but may involve some online support in small groups or workshops online and then hopefully working towards students being in school to support in lessons.
